At Curry on the Street, we have undergone an incredible evolution from our humble beginnings to becoming a vibrant community center that serves people from all walks of life. What started as a simple endeavor has grown into something much more meaningful – a place that provides assistance, support, and a caring environment for everyone, irrespective of their backgrounds or struggles.
We are delighted to have won awards for our work, including a Radio Lancashire ‘Make a Difference’ award and a ‘Pride of Nelson’ award from Nelson Town Council. We are so grateful to the people who nominated us and we display our awards with pride.

Our journey began with a vision to make a positive impact on society. We recognised the challenges faced by individuals dealing with drug abuse, homelessness, mental health issues, and the profound effects of loneliness. As a response to these pressing issues, we expanded our reach to address these concerns head-on and provide a beacon of hope for those in need.

Our team consists of loving individuals, including dedicated volunteers, who have a shared passion for making a difference.
