2019
Humble beginnings
Inspired by his own personal journey of overcoming alcohol misuse, James decided to leverage his experiences to help others in need.
The main focus of Curry on the Street’s initiative was to provide support to individuals struggling with homelessness, mental health issues, drug abuse, and other adversities.
By offering curry meals to those in need, the organisation aimed not only to alleviate hunger but also to foster a sense of community, dignity, and understanding among its beneficiaries.

Our Diverse Centre opens
We were really overwhelmed and excited to have the opportunity to take the lease on a lovely building that will work to bring all our community together as one.
In this building we help people in many ways, enabling them to feel that they BELONG here, are cared about and that nobody is ever judged. We signpost people to various other organisations for additional support, where appropriate.
